Copic Paper Selections were created as a series of distinct paper qualities so that our users can experience different finishes.
Since the dye ink in Copic markers soaks into the paper you will get varying finishes depending on the type and color of the paper, the level of ink bleed and ease of blending will also vary with the paper used.
Our premium quality papers are available in packs of A4 sheets with 6 types suitable for coloring illustrations and one paper for alcohol ink art. We recommend trying out a few varieties to find the one most suitable to your needs.
High-quality paper with a slightly off-white color. Recommended for beginners as the ink does not bleed through easily. The very smooth surface also makes it ideal for sketching and drawing with our Multiliners.
Developed for design drawings and recommended to use with pastels and colored pencils as such art materials easily settles on this surface. Alcohol ink will not bleed through this paper. Good for coloring illustrations.
Slightly thicker and whiter than Premium Bond Paper, great for illustration as it provides true expression of color and sharp contrast. The very smooth texture also makes it perfect for pen drawings. This paper type is also used in the Copic Shikishi Illustration Board.
Thick paper with a roughness of a drawing paper, it is very white to express true and vibrant colors. This surface makes it easy to blend and create gradation effects.
High-quality Japanese washi paper that allows for a watercolor painting effect. The inks applied on this paper spread beautifully, but do not bleed through the sheets.
