Thread Doctor
When brass tips are changed frequently, some metal scraps may block the screw threads which make it harder for you to screw-in your tips. But don't worry! Thread Doctor is the solution for maintaining screw threads for all HotCraft Hobby products. Use this to remove unwanted debris and to prolong the life or your tool.
Directions: To clean the thread, screw the Thread Doctor in a clockwise direction, like how you do with a screwdriver. Once you've reached the bottom, unscrew the Thread Doctor out in a counter-clockwise direction. Lightly tap the HotCraft Hobby product and you might see small pieces of metal scraps come out. You should be able to screw-in the brass tip smoothly after.
Warning: Do not force or over-screw the Thread Doctor.
