DYLON Multi-Purpose Dye 5g is perfect for dyeing smaller quantities of material and one tin/sachet will dye up to 250g/8oz of dry weight fabric. This product is suitable for dyeing cotton, linen, viscose, wool, and silk, as well as nylon, spandex, rayon and lycra. It is also ideal for dyeing plastic, as well as a wide variety of natural fibres including wood, hemp and grass. Multi-Purpose Dye is ideal for dyeing home furnishing items like sofas and curtains. It is also used extensively for dyeing costumes and props for all types of theatrical productions. They are also inter-mixable. They will not dye acrylic, leather, suede, acetate or polyester, but will dye the cotton portion of polyester/cotton blends as well as buttons (pearl and plastic). This product is sold in packs of 3 which provides sufficient dye for it to be used either by hand or in a washing machine.
